You can stop an AI client from accessing Notiondesk Workspace MCP by removing its connection, or block access to a specific help center by disabling Workspace MCP in Notiondesk.
These actions have different scopes.
Disconnect an AI client
Remove the Notiondesk MCP connection from your AI client when you no longer want that client to access your workspace.
The exact steps depend on the client.
Open its MCP, apps, connectors, or integrations settings and remove or disconnect Notiondesk MCP.
Disconnecting one AI client:
- Stops that client from using your Notiondesk connection
- Does not disable Workspace MCP in Notiondesk
- Does not affect other AI clients you connected
- Does not affect connections created by other teammates

Disable Workspace MCP for a help center
To block Workspace MCP access to a help center:
- Open the help center in Notiondesk
- Go to Settings → General
- Find Workspace MCP
- Turn off Enable for this help center
- Confirm the change.
Connected AI clients immediately lose Workspace MCP access to that help center.
What happens after disabling Workspace MCP?
Disabling Workspace MCP affects only the selected help center.
Other help centers remain available when:
- Workspace MCP is still enabled for them
- The connected teammate has permission to access them
For example, if a workspace has three help centers and Workspace MCP is disabled for one of them, connected clients can continue using the other two.
Disconnecting a client vs disabling Workspace MCP
Choose the action based on what you want to block.

Disconnect the client when you only want to stop using Notiondesk from that application.
Disable Workspace MCP when the help center itself should no longer be available through Workspace MCP.
Reconnect later
You can enable Workspace MCP again from Settings → General.
If you removed the connection from your AI client, add Notiondesk MCP again and complete OAuth authorization.
