Your articles are a great way to help customers find what they're looking for, but it's also important that you make them easy to read. One of the best ways to do this is by changing your article order.
How to change your article order?
To change the order of your articles in Notiondesk, start by going to your Notion workspace and navigating to the database that contains your articles.
Next, you’ll need to change the article position by adjusting the “Position” property.
Each article has a “Position” property that determines its order. The ordering works in descending order, meaning higher numbers are placed at the top!
Example
Let's say you have the following articles and want to order them:
- "How to Get Started" should be the first article.
- "Using Advanced Features" should be the second article.
- "Troubleshooting Tips" should be the last article.
Assign the position numbers as follows:
- "How to Get Started": 10
- "Using Advanced Features": 5
- "Troubleshooting Tips": 1
After assigning these numbers, your articles will be ordered accordingly, with "How to Get Started" at the top, followed by "Using Advanced Features," and "Troubleshooting Tips" at the bottom.
Tips
- Review and Adjust Regularly: As you add new articles, review the order to ensure the most relevant and important articles are easily accessible.
- Use Consistent Positioning: Keep a consistent system for assigning position numbers to make future adjustments easier.
By following these steps, you can ensure that your articles are presented in a logical and user-friendly order, enhancing the overall experience for your customers.
